I think it’s just fine and you can save major mula by just having the guys buy nice pants and a nice shirt and possibly a tie if you want it slightly more formal. I think whatever you guys choose to do will look great.

I think the look you are going for will look great; however, if it is a formal wedding, they should at least wear a jacket for the ceremony.

The ceremony will probably only be about a half hour long. The guys can skip the vest completely, and just put the jacket on right before the ceremony. And after the ceremony, they can take the jacket and tie off. I don’t think it is unfair to the guys. Most of them are probably used to being outside for work or play.

I used to live in San Diego, so I know how hot it gets there. I think they should be fine for the amount of time the ceremony takes, unless there is an unusual heat wave.

i think it could look really good!  i’ve seen weddings where the guys wore all sorts of different things, and it still looked put together as long as it’s done right. these guys wore shades of light grey, white and brown and some wore black ties, some black vests- i think you can get really creative and as long as it looks good together, go for it!

I think it’s fine! We are doing something similar too. My mom keeps saying to make sure FH stands out in some way tho so I think we may do one color for FH and another for the GM and my dad. It’s your wedding so really you can do whatever style you like!

ETA: It’s VERY early in the morning and I clicked the wrong poll result! I clicked that they have to have a tux but what I ment was for the last option. They DO NOT need to have one!

my fi and the best man arent using tuxedo or suit. they decided to go with black pants and a black button down shirt with a red tie and a vest. they like that style and they finally convince me.
