I have very large breasts, and my waist is much smaller than them. When I went dress shopping I found a dress that fit my waist perfectly, but because of my chest I had to go up two sizes. The dress just came into the store and it absolutely drowns my waist and hips and looks *nothing* like the dress I tried.
My mother and the sales assistant told me that that it can be easily altered to fit like it did, but I am starting to stress out now. One of the main reasons I ordered it was because it was form fitting and now it is loose and flowy, which is the shape I hate on me.
Do people think it will be able to be altered properly? I am starting to freak out.
Here is a pic of the sample dress that fit my waist.
Dress in current size, which is too big everywhere but across my breasts.

It looks like a simple fix. They will just have to tighten it all around. Is there detail in the back?

@Bainise2013: I have the same problem you do. Big boobs, smaller rest of the body. They will take it in, it’s a simple fix.

It’s always important to buy a dress, or any other garment for that matter, to fit your largest part. The rest can be taken in to fit.
