is it a corset back dress? if so, I would lace it tighter.

truthfully I’m not positive about spanx- i own it and love it, it’s awesome for smoothing out little bumps. Is there some sort of “under-corset” that you could purchase?

the dress looks sooooo beautiful on you, but i totally understand what you mean.

@Willow1991:  I think you are your own worst critic. I see a beautiful woman in these photos.

It doesn’t look like either fat or pregnancy. You look fine. The only thing that might be causing that tiny little hint of roundness could be posture, perhaps, but no one is going to notice it.

I think it’s hardly noticeable, but I get what you mean. I’m about your size and I get the same effect in dresses without defined waistlines. I’ve found that tights make a world of difference, so I’d think that spanx would, too.

However, it might be a posture thing? Are you slumped at all? If you tilt your hips/lift your ribs (heels can help with the hips), does that help?

@Willow1991:  Haha, I know the feeling, but you don’t want to do that all day during your wedding!

I just say the thing about posture because I know that Pilates classes taught me that I was squishing my hips up toward the front of my ribs and slouching my shoulders down, which curved everything into a pooch that wasn’t there as soon as I aligned myself properly.

Anyway, if posture isn’t it, I bet that some boyshort-type underwear/shapewear that pulls in at your natural waist would be all you’d need.

it’s the natural curve of a healthy womanly body. what are you talking about, pregnant? I bet there are a bunch of pregnant ladies who would completely disagree with you! lol

I think you’re just sooooo thin that your organs have noplace else to go! You honestly look super duper skinny – nobody will think you look pregnant.

You definitely do not look pregnant. Women are supposed to have some curves!

@Willow1991:  I totally get what you’re talking about – that dreaded pooch.  However, it’s really hardly noticeable and I think I only picked up on it because you pointed it out and I was looking for it.  I do think Spanx might help.  And I agree about the posture, that might help, too.  Btw, the dress is beautiful!!!!
