You should visit the "encore" board - it's dedicated to ladies who have been married previously!
Thanks for the tip, Amanda! I didn't realize that's what encore was for!
Absolutely! We have a blast over on the encore board and I'm right along with you!
Nothing wrong with having an encore wedding. Just expect some people might think differently and don't allow their believes to become your own and you'll be just fine. I'm an encore bride and the ladies are right; the encore board is fabulous!
it is fi's 2nd wedding.......... and i am having a hard time undertstanding why some people aren't as excited for us on his side as they should be. especially since, like you, this time for him it really is the one.

I was married before. Our marriage lasted approximately 4.5 years. From the start, it was something we did for practical reasons. That said, I still had a small wedding complete with gown, invites, 1 MOH and 2 BM's... the works, basically. My parents footed the bill for the entire thing. I didn't pay for ANYTHING -- not even postage!
This time around I feel somewhat guilty for still wanting a wedding. But, I feel like this time it's a real wedding and last time it was really for show and because we were "doing the right thing."
I am trying not to think about what other people will think, but every now and again it pops into my mind knowing that most of the people I want to invite are people who were all at my first wedding. lol...
Still, I can't imagine not doing some type of celebration if the Boy and I marry. Heck, I want to celebrate everyday just that he's in my life!
Is there anyone else who was married before?
