I am getting married outside in a courtyard in the June mid morning. I have two older bridesmaids, 45-50 yr. One is very conservative but is open to wearing this. the other one loves it and so does my younger bridesmaid. But I am worried that it may be too bare and they will feel uncomfortable showing their arms. Maybe with a matching shawl? Or am I thinking like an old lady myself? thanks for your opinons.

I think it's lovely. I don't know that a shawl would work well with this since it would be draped over the flower details on the shoulders.

I have to say that I love the tone of this dress. I think you did an awesome job finding something tasteful, elegant, and age-appropriate.

However, it kind of depends on body type. I could see how an older woman who was significantly overweight might be uncomfortable displaying her arms in that dress. If that's likely to be an issue, perhaps you could look at MOB/MOG type dresses? Often they have a little matching jacket--perhaps that style would be a good alternate option? Is it important to you that all your bridesmaids wear the same dress, or would you be open to having them wear different styles in the same color and fabric?

Thanks for the input. I think i may find a different dress for my maid of honor. She is the one that may not feel comfortable in the sleeveless dress. I found another dress with a jacket and it has a rose embellishment on the front.
