My wedding colour pallette is seagreen/teal and a pinkish purple.
Our wedding flowers are white (I don’t have a choice there as it is part of a standard package deal)
I’m thinking of working both colours into my bridesmaid’s dress (or not). Still deciding – will appreciate your thoughts on this.
This is the dress style I want for her:
I can go with it as it is or I can have made in a seagreen and purple ombre material shown in the dress below:
I’m also wondering …If not done right it could look tacky oneday when I look back on it – what do you reckon?
So hopefully where all the light/white parts are in dress 1 there will be the purplish color.
Think it will steal the show too much?
This is my dress:
I love the way her sweetheart neckline will match mine.
Will appreciate your comments!

is this the dress everyone’s been obsessed about on pinterest? it’s gorgeous!!!! btw i love the first dress you posted and it looks very much like something a bridesmaid would wear. I don’t think there will be any question about who the bride is. relax. what’s important is that you have a great time at your wedding, try not to think about who will outshine you. you’ll get more than enough attention.

I think they’re too much. They’re GORGEOUS but I think clash with the style of your lovely lace dress. Two-colored dresses or ombre are tricky- they’re very flashy. I think you will look back and they will seem too trendy. (Please don’t take it personally, I would want someone to be honest with me!!)

I love the first dress! The second one is ok too, but I think you might look back on it and think it wasn’t such a good idea lol. Seems a bit trendy.
ETA: I hadn’t realized you posted a picture of your wedding dress too! LOVE your wedding dress, but I’m not sure if either of those bridesmaid’s dresses go with it. They seem a little too bold and flashy for your elegant wedding dress. Just my opinion

I think bm dress #1 is nice on its own, but it doesn’t go well with your wedding dress. Keep looking.

I like the first dress, the second isn’t for me. However, seeinig your wedding dress, I just don’t think either one of them go with it to be honest. I do also think they’ll be more prone to look dated (but I guess everything will look dated 20 years from now!)

although really beautiful(the first one) it doesn’t go with the style of your dress.

Your gown is so romantic and ethereal, and the bridesmaids dress is a little “promish”. I think it’s a great style, maybe in a more subdued color.

@Adams_bee: Thank you so much for your response xxx Actually there are some family members who always look for something wrong in everything and it was one of the comments they already made to me 😛 I hope I’m not giving people the impression that I’m an attention seeker x I’m just considering previous feedback. It wouldn’t surprise me if it is the dress everyone is faffing about 😛 Mine is just the chinese version hehe

I agree that I just don’t think either of them go with your wedding dress – which is absolutely gorgeous!!! I think the 1st dress is pretty, I just don’t think it goes for some reason… And the 2nd dress… hmm I think its just too much. Maybe too much boobage for a bridesmaid? haha…

I like the first one (NOT the purple ombre) but I agree with pps, it doesn’t go with your dress- too beachy. Very pretty though.

I really do love the first dress, but I have to agree with the other bee’s that the style isn’t right for your dress. I think you should keep looking!

First off, I love your dress! I like the first bridesmaids dress picture, I think it would be too much with purple; too much literal theme. They are trendy and you may question it in the future but I say who cares?! They’re beautiful. If you love it you love it, don’t over think it.

@lovekiss: Thanks so much for your response – I had no idea that it doesn’t go with it at all so wow thanks you got my attention to that – can you pleeeaaase maybe show me a pic of something you think will suit my dress so that I know where to begin looking?
