I have purchased this Casablanca 1900 dress, which should arrive later this month. I originally ordered a place ivory tulle cathedral length veil. Since then, I have decided I want a different veil. I have fallen in love with this polka dot tulle veil with lace edging. I am trying to decide if I think the polka dot matches and would complement the dress, or if it would look bad because it is overkill. Would love your alls opinions!
Above is the dress. Below is a close up of the lace. It is Champagne dress with an ivory lace overlay.
Here is the veil:

Honestly, I’m having trouble figuring out if it’ll be amazing or if it’ll be overkill. Separately they’re both beautiful, but I think maybe a more simple veil would work best… but then again, you could rock it! Sorry, I’m not much help at all, hahah.

Nurseariel: beautiful, but it might be a little too much?! love that dress 🙂

I have to think that wearing both will be too much. Your lovely dress has a lot of detail so I’d stick to a simple veil.

I agree with PP. I think it might be too much and a more simple veil would enhance the beauty of the dress. I think the two polkadots and lace pieces will get lost in each other and just look cluttered.
Just my opinion 🙁
They are definitely so incredibly beautiful on their own.
That veil. *swoon*
That dress. *swoon again*

I think it would be overkill. A simple veil would make your dress stand out.
I also don’t think that the dress and the veil compliment each other. Yes the both have polka dots, but matchy matchy is not always good.

A simle veil would look best. Although the veil you liked is pretty, it won’t work with your dress.
