- Wedding: October 2013
So, in the beginning I wanted a rainbow themed Up wedding, but I am getting married here
We are planning on blacking the room out, and hanging a Christmas Light Canopy, from the beam you see to the back of the room. On the stage we are setting up 2 burgundy red curtains to cover that blacked out center window, and weird ass beam. We were and are trying to make the room look like it’s a theatre!
My bridesmaids will be in mismatched grey dresses, and the groom in a grey suit. I don’t mind that they specifically won’t be matching the room because the pictures we take together won’t be in here.
There will be various uplighting in the rooms to the side (they won’t be covered). Sadly those doors will be folded up and still visible. This is another reason why we are blacking the room out.
I’m really worried about this place. It’s what we could afford, and I’m trying hard to make it not look like crap, but on a budget.
Here is my problem. I have what I want now. Which is this, SUCCULENT CITY. They would be cheaper than traditional flowers, and I love the way they look as bouquets, centerpieces, etc
It would also go perfectly with my theme! Which is late 1950s, and random video game references.
Or this, which is what I feel I should do to match the room, and what I also think looks beautiful but when it comes to my bouquet and how to design the centerpieces, I’m at a loss. I’m working with a small budget. And I’m so attached to the idea above. 🙁
I could order flowers online.
By The Way a beautiful bee made this for me.
I’m really at a loss. I’ve considered decorating the wedding party with the greens and blues, and then doing the centerpieces in reds, browns, dark colors and so forth.
I mean the wedding party isn’t going to take pictures with the tables, right?
So, can I do both and get away with it?
