I have been debating this too, but I think I am going to have the bridesmaids escorted by the groomsmen. My Matron of Honor will walk alone.

Unescorted up the aisle, and on the arms of their groomsmen partners down the aisle after the ceremony.

@fzesguer:  I’m fairly certain that this is how I am going to do it as well. However, we will have one more groomsman that we have bridesmaids so I’m still trying to figure out exactly how I want to swing that.

@jordanhughes:  My dilemma exactly! I only have 3 BM including my MOH and he has 4 guys on his side. I’m thinking having my last BM walk down with one groomsman on each arm?

My bridesmaids will go with the groomsmen. I’m unsure about my MOH

We don’t have a 1:1 ratio of male GMs to girl BMs so the men will hang out at the top of the aisle and us ladies will walk up solo.

nope only the flower girl and the two ring bearers- they walked kinda in a group together when it was suppose to be ring bearers then flower girl some how it went flowergirland ring bearer and youngest ring bearer flowing closly behind. we had 4 bm andf 5 groomsmen and just because of the dianamics thought it was best to have all guys wait at the alter with groom and the girls go one by one. during the processional they paired up but not held arms..

@jordanhughes:  Ooh, just thought of something, maybe the last groomsman can hold hands with the flower girl and ringbearer and walk inbetween them?

Thinking about the guys up with FI in front and BMs walking up alone and leaving with GM. I like the idea of entering as one person and leaving as 2

@fzesguer:  I think that would be really cute. We’ll be having 2 ring bearers and 1 flower girl though, so that might get a bit crowded.

Bridesmaids will walk with the groomsmen. I’m surprised at the poll; I’ve never seen a wedding where the bridesmaids and groomsmen walked separately.

Both times I was a bridesmaid I walked in alone, so that’s the model I’m following. Everyone will pair off for the exit. I don’t recall ever seeing the bridesmaids escorted in.
