Oh and also I haven't been following the news too closely lately...Does anyone know if the Cabo area has been affected by the oil spill, and is Mexico safe in general right now with all the drug wars going on?
As long as you dont go on college breaks you should be fine not having the drunk girls! Or more expensive resorts are normally a older/ more mellow group
IMO expedia has the BEST prices! My parents booked for out DW thru expedia and FH's parents booked thru AAA and paid almost 1k more (they even have the same flights)
If you're looking at Mexico I'd recommend Puerto Vallarta. We were there last year and loooooved it! We stayed at Dreams Puerto Vallarta and got a great deal. In late October the weather was perfect... not sure about winter. :)

We've already had our honeymoon in Ireland in June, but still have a bunch of vacation time accumulated at work that we're going to lose if we don't take it. Since we never had a decent summer in LA this year, I'm yearning for a nice warm beach vacation. I was thinking maybe Cabo, Cancun or Hawaii for 4-5 days in November or December. We've been to Hawaii before but not to Mexico (at least south of Rosarito).Would love to hear your experiences about:
- How's the weather for each in that season?
- Which one can I get better deals for?
- Where can I look for good priced packages?
- If Hawaii, which island is best that time of year?
- Can I find somewhere in Cancun that doesn't have the college party/girls gone wild crowd?
- Any other destination recommendations?
