Weddingbee boards

I just watched this slide show, featuring People Style Watch's beauty trends for winter for makeup and hair.  After checking it out, I think there are several trends that might work for wedding beauty looks. 

• Metallic Eye Shadow- This was a trend in fall, too.  I did a metallic gold/champagne look for my eyes at my wedding and loved how it turned out.  I think the key to metallic is using the right shade for your skin tone.  Because there's a range in shades (gold, copper, silver, etc), there's something flattering for everyone.  Some of my fave metallic eyeshadows come from Laura Mercier. 
• Matte Red Lipstick-It's definitely a signature look.  Wearing a great red lipstick is a bold way to go for your wedding day, but it's also classic and timeless.  For an affordable matte lipstick, I like Revlon.  Lots of different shades, including a few flattering reds.
• The "Modern Bouffant"--I think this would work great with a tiara or veil.  It's fancy enough to look formal, but not too over-done.
• Natural Curls--For you curly haired gals, looks like going natural is in!  Add some curl defining cream and go for it!
