First off, I LOVE the 2nd one.  Love love love!  Love.

There, now the gushing is over… worth $200?  Nope.  Here’s why: with artificial flowers, I could make that entire bouquet for about $35-50 max.  So, shy of making it yourself/having it made with artificial flowers, here’s what I suggest.  Go to your craft store, get the tiny pine cones.  Get the berries.  Get the whispy white flowers.  Take them to your florist and have her incorporate them into the bouquet with the fresh roses and peonies.  That should knock the price down significantly, since all she will have to do is add them in when assembling.  Good luck!

those are gorgeous bouquets for a winter wedding!

I don’t see any particularly expensive flowers in those bouquets… the first one looks ike it’s all white roses with dustry miller… I have no idea what those dusty berries are.. but if those are expensive, you could try hypercium berries instead? and some scabiosa pods could be nice to replace the pine cones if needed. the second bouquet looks like it might have a peony in there, and that would definitely increase the price… I think it looks great with just the roses if you didn’t want to include peony.

$200 is a pretty standard price for a bride’s bouquet with a moderately priced florist… so maybe you could shop around for a cheaper florist as well?

@chel_113: for a cheaper alternative to peonies, I would try either garden roses or ranunculus.

I had hydrangea, peonies, spider mums, and garden roses in my winter white bouquet — just thoughts for inspiration! The peonies actually weren’t all that expensive but I didn’t need many since they are so big.
