Hello!! I pretty new here although, im one whos been stalking this site for a while, and i have seen all of you be very honest, helpful and sometimes brutal (which in my opinion is a great thing) so here i am, at a crossroads…..birdcage veil or floral wreath??? my wedding is in december (winter wonderland-ish) in the mountains. SO input please? and sorry about the massive format and sideways pictures, like i said im new and dont know how to fix… thanks bees!!! and congrats to all you lovely ladies as well!!

i love the birdcage on you over the wreath. it looks very very elegant and classic. although i do love the wreath – it doesnt scream winterwonderland to me. more ‘hippyish beach wedding ish’ plus to be honest – cause you asked for it – i dont like the braiding in your hair. it looks tight and uncomfortable. PLUS since i live in a very cold environment, any exposure to the scalp on a cold day spells headaches!

Yeah, thats kind of where i am at with it all, i initially decided on the floral wreath but then found the veil…! as far as the braids go i was playing with different styles, im not a huge fan either and my grandmother quote “hates it” lol i think the wreath is more beach like too but i ordered it with little pinecones and berries in hopes it would alleviate that but i guess not..lol thanks for your honesty!!!

Birdcage. It looks so clasic and elegant. Will be great for photos. I feel like the floral wreath is too large and is a little overwhelming. Do you have a picute of your dress to get a better feel for it all together?

DewB59: Oh birdcage veil hands down! Its elegant and winter wonderland-ish. Looks fabulous on you too. The flower headpiece doesnt seem appropriate for what you’re trying to portray.

I personally love the floral crown! But I like them in general. I’d take out some of the white flowers so it’s not so big and white, though… more emphasis on the leaves and pinecones would be beautiful. Either way you can’t go wrong, really : )

Floral wreath without the cornrows.

They both look great! I’m kind of leaning towards the wreath though, but I’m a sucker for those anyway!

floral doesnt suit winter.. Think more light, if your going for something like the maggie you put up you dont want to make your heato to bulky?.. have you chosen your dress?..

Normally I’m a fan of flower crowns but not with that hairstyle. It needs to be softer, and I don’t think that one screams winter wedding. You look gorgeous in the birdcage veil and I think the pictures will look so classy x
