- Wedding: December 2013
I am getting married on 21 December 2013. We then plan on spending Christmas at home with our family and flying off on our honeymoon on 26/27 December. We are based in the UK and neither my Fiance nor I are well- travelled so we are looking to do something special and memorable for our honeymoon.
We have decided that we would like to spend the first few days of our honeymoon in New York basically so that we can be in New York for new year. Neither or us have been to the US before and we both are so excited to do this! Any tips for things that we can book in advance for NY eve would be appreciated….we have some ideas but most of them have been taken from the movies so they may not be completely realistic 🙂 (serendipity…sleepless in Seattle etc!!). I know that NYC will be pricey but we are prepared for this. We see it as the trip of a lifetime.
We would then like to go somewhere a bit more relaxing, warm and chilled for ten nights flying straight from New York. We figure the carribean would be ideal and not too far to fly from NY. Somewhere like St Lucia or Barbados maybe? Again, neither of us have been to the carribean so basically have no idea where to start.
have any other bees done a similar two-centre/ multi-centre honeymoon? Please share your experiences and tips as we literally have so little experience of travel any help would be fantastic….
oh, and the second leg doesn’t have to be carribean. It could be somewhere else in the US for example.
Are there any recommended companies specialising in two-centre honeymoons that you would recommend?
many thanks in anticipation.
