We are debating about either a tropical paradise or a cozy get a way like what you're describing. I don't know what can be more romantic than snuggling up next to your man with a roaring fireplace looking out onto snow capped mountains
That sounds awesome. We might do a cabin in northern Minnesota, but it will be summertime. Wintertime would be cool though, too - I agree with what Wendy said!
We're getting a cabin in Colorado but not in the winter, it'll be in October. FI doesn't like beaches so we're going for a rustic, mountainy honeymoon. We'll still get out plenty and see the sights and hike. Or maybe we'll just stay in the cabin the whole time....:D
Wendy- Our original plan was to do a caribbean cruise but we changed our minds to a cabin in the winter!

My fiance and I are thinking about spending our honeymoon in a cabin in NC. We want somewhere that's close to Asheville so that we can visit the Biltmore Estate while we're there. Has anyone else spent their honeymoon in a cabin? Is anyone planning on spending their honeymoon in a cabin?
