We always do a ski trip to Colorado around christmas and its lots of fun.  At places like Copper Mountain there are lots of fun winter activities (even besides skiing).  They are usually around really small cute towns and we just stock up on groceries and stay in for the week.

There is a small little town right outside Beaver Creek (i forget what its called though) and they might have some cute B&B’s.

I used to work at Copper Mountain, its very secluded, a bit away from towns and things to do. I have been all over Colorado, there are tons of great spots in the area. We are getting married in Beaver Creek. My suggestion for a Honeymoon would be Vail, Breckenridge, or Aspen. They offer other activities then skiing, most places you can do Snowmobile tours as well. If you need any info or recommendations, please let me know. I used to book reservations for the Rocky Mountain area.

Other than the Mountain area, you should check out BOULDER, its a great town. I love it! Fly into Denver and get a rental car from there and head up into the Mountains, since it will be winter, grab a 4×4 rental.

Hope these tips help.
