I make butternut squash a lot … we just put like 4 c water or broth in a pan, heat it up, toss in some cubed squash and some shallots, wait til they get soft and blend them up!

I typically add curried chicken to it and curry spices to the soup itself to make it have more flavor 🙂

@Take The Reins:  Haha yea I didn’t think I would like it either but I love curry and it carries the flavor so well… turned into one of my favorites for sure!

@Take The Reins:  Sauté in oil or butter with garlic and curry powder, then add a block of curry spice (I find it in the ethnic aisle at my grocery store). Then you add water to make the block a thick sauce that you can add in in swirls.

My favorite is the potato soup from olive garden, just google it! I love it by far the best

Sicilian chicken soup from carabbas ,,, I make caldo de pollo or res Mexican and Honduras style is a long recipe with carrots , potatoes , chayote ,green beans , onion , bell pepper etc is delicious !!!! We use a lot of spices and if is Mexican style we add chile de Arbol !!!

I just learned this one last weekend:

In a crock pot add 1 package of frozen hash browns, one can of cream of chicken soup and two cans of chicken broth. Cook for 5 hours. Add a square of cream cheese and cook an additional hour.

Top with bacon bits and cheese (onions too if you like them).

It is very rich!
