Its too crowded with this many chairs and tables but I wouldn't need nearly this many.
It seats 140 people and there is a good sized deck.
I went to a reception at the WPFM! The decor was awesome and I love the venue but I did feel that it was a little small. There was not too much room for a dance floor and they did a buffet style dinner which caused some problems with everyone trying to get in line. If you are having a smaller wedding, I think it would be a great location! If it was bigger, I would absolutely consider it for my wedding!
@theredhead: That helps so much! I won't have time to check venues in person till this summer. I think its adorable but cramped. I'll keep it on the maybe list for now :)
@cellokitty: Idk if you have looked at a place called Dubsdread yet, but it has a similar feel and holds more people! It's not quite as cool as the WPFM but the staff is super nice and their food is amazing!
I think it could be awesome. I love the lights! It would be a fun place to have wedding.
YAY! I am having my wedding there 01/26/13 so almost a year away :) I completely fell in love with this venue, and even more in love with the town it is in. I have talked to other brides that had about 120 guest and they said that they had enough room to where it was comfortable enough even with a dance floor. The best part about this place is that you can have any vendor you desire! But be aware that it books up fast. I was orginally wanting to have my wedding sometime between Oct-Dec 2012..but there were no Saturdays available. So we decided on January.
I would definitely suggest seeing it in person.
Here is a personal picture of the venue without the tables and chairs and some pictures of the patio.

@Verita: AH, I love it even more now! I can't wait to check it out in person. Congrats by the way!
I just had my wedding there. We loved it. We had 140 people and there was so much space!! We had a big dance floor. But we kep the bar on the patio. It probably could have fit inside. I was worried about it being cramped, but it was not (because of the way we arranged the tables). Here is the picture (they were still setting up).
This is awesome because we're actually thinking about this venue as well! How far did you end up booking in advanced? Wow it's exactly what I was looking for chabby chic! You guys rock!
I don't know if anyone's still reading this but google weddingsby2plushue. It's a rental company that specializes in decorating for mainly the farmers market. The owner is amazing and so detail oriented. She has beautiful design taste and we have her for July.
@bricon: Oh my goodness, I did see that. I love their rentals. How is the pricing? I think she's the only one that deals with "shabby chic" type DIY.
@miss.serendipity: We called and held a date and tommorrow we have an appointment. FH is very excited to see it - it's within our budget and can hold the amount of our guest list if everyone will go.
It's perfect becuase I love downtown Winter Park and it's so close to where we live.
Did any of you hold the ceremony there?
@tibbets: We rented a church about 1 mile from the Farmer's Market. This is the one we got married in : it holds about 150 http://www.winterparkchurch.com/
There is another church -- walking distance to the farmer's market-- but only holds about 50-- it is super cute-- but small: http://www.winterparkweddingchapel.com/Winter_Park_Wedding_Chapel/Welcome.html
Your can bring your own officiant/pastor to do the ceremony. You just rent out the church.
@miss.serendipity: We were aiming for possibly having the ceremony on the porch area of the Farmers Market , but the Winter Park Chapel is super cute!
Thank you so much! I just emailed them about their availabity!
Hi weddings by 2 plus hue's pricing depends on how much stuff you want, she will also do the styling for you. Something we needed because everyone else we know will be at the wedding. The market has a lot of decor rules and they are pretty unaccomadating as far as letting you in to decorate. Sometimes they border on rude. She has a five hundred dollar minimum including delivery. But she's fantastic. (no I'm not her lol).
@tibbets: Make sure to check out the train schedule. The train comes by several times....and you don't want that train coming in the middle of your ceremony!
I like it, i love the brick, I think you can decorate and make your wedding look amazing!

The Winter Park Farmer's Market has caught my eye!
I would love to hear from some brides who plan on having their wedding here or anyone who has been to a wedding here. I think its totally cute and with the right decor would make an adorable shabby-chic reception hall.
