I kind of envy you teachers and your snow days. I don’t think my firm has snow days so tomorrow’s morning commute will be lovely I’m sure. I know a lot of teachers in my area get snow days tomorrow too. I feel like the blizzard came out of nowhere in the last week. But at least it’s hitting before Christmas travel this weekend and we’ll get to actually enjoy a white Christmas this year!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

@humminbird:  It should, just be careful on the slick roads when you travel. That’s one heck of a long drive!!!!

I am actually kind of worried about it.  DH has to work at 6 am.  I am making him take boots and a parka in the truck just in case ๐Ÿ™‚  We are really amazing drivers though, because when we moved to Wisco we drove a Mustang.  If that won’t scare you and teach you to drive safe in ice and snow, nothing will!

I am worried about the other drivers and because people always get hurt… it takes a special breed to live here… Ice, snow, crazy windchills, then so unbearably hot in the summer… people literally die from the heat…!

We are supposed to get a huge storm on Friday – not sure if it is the same system. I have to travel home on Friday so I’m really hoping that it isn’t as bad as predicted and is just the usual weather-hysteria that happens at the start of every winter.

@Mrs. Doily:  17 inches!  All the schools are closed, but Dh’s work is still open tomorrow ๐Ÿ™  Yeah, that Mustang was a stick with straight brakes and it was SO SCARY.  I constantly thought I was going to die.  But it taught me to really be in tune with the road conditions and the vehicle’s response.  I basically would slide backwards sometimes and not be able to make it up hills.  SO SCARY!

Yeahhhh I kind of wonder what we’ll be naming next:

“And for Friday’s forcast, gentle spring rain Tallulah shouldn’t interfere too badly with scheduled outdoor events, but will increase your chance of seeing the rainbow Benjamin.”
