Ornaments – Could be used the way chinese lanterns are used.

Gifts – Can be used for money box, centerpieces, cake, and other accents.

Maybe have a family style dinner/holiday feast?

Candy canes

Twinkling lights

Christmas trees

Candy canes in hot chocolate, snowglobes as favours, mistletoe in the center of the dance floor, photos of everyone with Santa?(going way overboard there? lol!).  Ask everyone to wrap any gift they may be bringing in christmas wrapping paper?

Apple cider, candy cane and hot cocoa favors (the cute ones in jars with cocoa mix, marshmallows and cin. sticks), personalized ornaments (in mini Christmas stockings), cranberries/pine/”snow”/ornaments in tall vases as centerpieces.  Card box that looks like a chimney, Christmas dinner type food… so much more lol.  I love the holidays.  Hope this helps!

I’m not sure if you’ve chosen your colors yet, but I LOVE navy blue, ice blue and deep red as colors for winter weddings. Bridesmaids in different shades of blue dresses, holding a simple bouquet of red roses … ah! swoooon!

One idea I love for a Christmas themed wedding is to have a Christmas tree somewhere in the room, and in your invitations, ask guests, via a cute poem or note or something, to bring you both an ornament, and once they arrive, hang it on the tree so that your first Christmas as a married couple, your tree will be filled with ornaments from your loved ones.

Aw I’m glad you like my ideas!  We started out planning a December wedding if you couldn’t tell ha ha.  The cocoa favors are my favorite idea for the holiday season and they just look so yummy (not to mention adorable lol)!  As a guest I know I would like them!  ha ha ha.  And a gingerbread house card box sounds cute too!  I just though the chimney would be winter-like with still having holiday undertones.  Good luck!

I was a server at a Christmas wedding and it was beautiful! They had miniature trees as center pieces which were decorated in different themes. I love the idea mentioned about everyone bringing an ornament to add to the bride and groom’s tree! What a nice way to remember your wedding every holiday! I think it would also be a unique way to organize a guest book. You could have cute little note cards with ribbons for people to write a little note and add to the tree. You could later scrapbook the little notes as the guest book!

We are doing a black and white wedding, but this theme makes me want to change! lol
