@eLPeeseNanner:  You look great in your dress!  Do you have a picture of the coat you’re talking about, or even better…a picture of you wearing it with the dress?

@eLPeeseNanner:  Wow I think you look fantastic!

I’m planning on getting something but it would be for outdoor shots not for the actual ceremony.

I don’t think you should cover up the dress, perhaps a shawl would be pretty but I would be worried about covering up that gorgeous detailing!

@eLPeeseNanner:  I’m hoping for the same LOL! Nice coating of snow but nothing nasty for the guests to drive through as many of mine are 1.5+ hours drive away.

I’ve looked at the ones on Lightinthebox but I’m torn as I don’t want something too fluffy fake fur but I do want something that would provide warmth!

I’ve been looking at some wool bolero types on Etsy, my dress is beaded on the bodice and I don’t want to cover all that up. Hoping to find a capelet type style that’s closed at the throat and then open on the front or a straight bolero.

I will post back if I find something!

I am wearing a faux fur shawl that was my grandmother’s.  It’s really soft and fuzzy.  I personally prefer the look of a shawl over a bolero.

I like a shawl as opposed to a bolero as well.  I wore a gorgeous swan feather shawl–it gave the “fur look” and bonus, it was toasty warm for outdoor photos.  Maybe try something like that?  I found mine on Etsy, but check your local vintage stores too!

I like the eggplant color; however, I’m wondering if you could do a gold or silver (to match the beading on the bodice of your dress).  If not, I’m sure the eggplant will look fine!

@eLPeeseNanner: I really like the shawl. Is eggplant one of your colours? As you say matching the colour of the shawl with your dress would be difficult so the contrast of the eggplant will look great.
