Our wedding is next month and I have not been able to commit to a favor. Our theme is elegant “Winter Wonderland” with lots of silver/sparkle/candlelight & snowflakes. We are torn between these handmade sparkly snowflake cookies versus these snowball caramel & white chocolate apples.
So, Bees, I need your opinions…which do you think would suit our theme better? Both will be packaged in cellophane bags with sheer silver ribbon and a tag.

In theory, the apples sound cool…but in reality? I wouldn’t want to eat it. I’d be sad because I’d want to, but I’d be scared for my teeth!
Go for the cookies!

The cookies are beautiful!

Either of them are cool is there a major price difference?

@MissMiaMarch: Definitely the cookies.

@Zenostar: Yes. The cookies would be about $120 for forty and the apples would be the cost of supplies and paying my super-crafty baker friend Em to make them for me. So, the apples are probably a little cheaper.

The apples are super cool but I would go with the cookies for your favour. Your wedding sounds lovely by the way!

I like the ideas of the apples they might be more durable when you transport them to your venue

I VOTED – COOKIES
Cookies for sure… sooooo GORGEOUS
Caramel Apples (and their ilk) are in truth tough to eat for a lot of people… young or old.
Cookies work for everyone… and anyone wanting to not eat the silver “Dragees” can just pick them off.
Also, there are nice decorative sugars that can be used as well, or instead (looks like crushed ice, white, or a rainbow of colours to match your other decor elements)
Hope this helps,

I like the apples in theory, but in practice I would prefer the cookies. I would marvel appreciatively at the apples, but I wouldn’t eat them.
