Im having trouble picking the songs. So far I know I’m walking down the aisle to Make You Feel My Love by Adele but that’s it!
i have no idea of a recessional song. As my wedding is so close to Christmas FI wants Christmas songs in the background at the reception such as White Christmas etc. is this tacky or nice? Also I hate all of FIs suggestions for out first dance- they are all so old and traditional (Im 24 and he is 10 years older than me so maybe that’s why). At the moment he likes the song At Last.

IMO,there is nothing wrong with playing Christmas music. We played it at our reception and we even had two Christmas Hymns played at the church ceremony.

I think christmas ones (the classic ones and not destinys child screeching rap christmas songs in the background) will be really nice and make everyone feel really nostalgic
You could look and see if there are any modern versions of the songs he likes as a compromise or see if you like the instrumental.

I had a Winter wonderland wedding. I insisted upon having a very large christmas tree for the wedding. My wedding planner laughed at me and said it was tacky. We are now in March and most of my guests Facebook pictures are Next to my christmass tree. Own it !!!!! I had Ivy and mistletoe and lots of christmas decorations.
Classic Old school songs mean you wont hate them when you hear them in 20 years. I am so old school my breakfast at tiffany-s bridal shower. My favorite movie is gone with the wind….but My husband insited we danced ” a thousand years” from the twilight soundtrack while I wanted a sinatra song Or Save the last dance for me,So….. just let your hubby win this one…
And be happy !!!! The moment is so ackward anyway.
