The warrington country club has a fire place. Its fresh in my mind because I was just there. Obviously, its about 20 minutes from the city. But I'm sure there are a ton of other places.
We got married at the Warwick - right at 17th and Locust. I'm not sure if it would fit your 'cozy' criteria (though there is a non-working fireplace), but both our ceremony and reception were inside. It was a fantastic venue and the staff were phenomenal - I highly recommend the place. Good luck with your plans
Some venues I would suggest: Tendenza, Knowlton Mainson, Glenn Ford mansion. The mansions both offer a unique cozy space though I'm not positive about fireplaces.
Its my venue, but Carinwood in Bryn Athen is lovely and they have an AMAZING price discount in Jan/Feb. They also decorate very well for Christmas so you if you are on a budget this place is a great option.
Old Westbury manor is great but it's all the way out on Long Island.
@EventsbySE: Glen Ford is beautiful as well. I've been to many weddings there.

My fiance and I are planning a wedding in Philadelphia but still finishing up school in Arizona! Any help on places would be wonderful! We are planning for a Feb. wedding and we want the recpetion and ceremony inside. I was hoping for a cozy place with a fireplace. Any ideas?
