Getting married Feb 6th, having a winter wonderlandish, elegant, candlelit wedding... need ideas for flowers.  Originally wanted peonies and/or ranaculus (-sp?) but I'm hearing they won't be available.  Meeting with my florist for the first time this thursday, any ideas or pics??

What about hydrangeas or carnations tightly packed together? Or even white tulips?! Mind you, I don't know the availability of these flowers (but carnations will be fine) in February.

Otherwise cream/blush garden roses (similar to peonies) are available at that time of the year as well.

Also, have you checked out www.stylemepretty.com today?! If not, go and see the most beautiful white wonderland event that Abby featured!

What about stephanotis or dahlias? I am so bad at knowing what's in season, lol. I know my mom's Nov wedding back in the day had stephanotis and roses (hers was all white)

Roses, lilies, chrysanthemums, daisies, carnations, freesia, poinsettias, snapdragons, narcissus,  tulips, baby's breath, queen anne's lace, orchids, stock, waxflowers, alstroemeria... Can you tell I've been looking into this myself? Laughing

I'm getting married the week before that and just met with my florist about white blooms. She's using stephanotis for the bouts and some in my bouquet, but mostly roses and ranunculus. For the centerpieces and wreaths we're using hydrangeas. Hope that helps!

I had all white flowers in December last year, and I think my new favorite flower became the white football mum. AMAZING. Seriously. If you like really plush, full flowers, they are perfect. I also had some stock for the smell, ranunculus, and anemonies, and a few white roses. Really, though, the mums were awesome (and I was all about the ranunculs before I saw the mums in person).

White amaryllis are also a good choice. They are beautiful large blossoms, that are stunning!

I am having my wedding January 2 and I am having my florist create these large 'snowball' like centerpieces. My florist is using mainly carnations but some other mum like flowers as well.
