maybe a birch? Check out www.nettletonhollow.com and look at his blog.. he does lots with trees, and maybe he can help you out
I have done this for Christmas Party. I put an ad on craigslist asking if anyone had any larger FREE branches they wanted to get rid of. I secured them in pots with plaster of paris and sprayed with fake snow.

I have gotten quotes from florists who can line the aisle (8) and the alter (4) with unspecified trees for $2000. Most people give me $1500 give or take range.
Maybe i can make this myself AND have a fuller look instead of paying someone? Anyone have any ideas how to do this and what type of tree?
I found this picture on the internet, i really love it.
