@lovelove1028:  I saw that you used floral tape on the twigs. Did you draw the birch bark onto the white? It looks so good!

@lovelove1028:  WOW! I absolutely LOVE those hangers, and was thinking about buying them from etsy, but I’d love to do them myself! What gauge wire did you use? How easy was it to bend?

I’m doing a brooch bouquet, candy apples (as favours) and possibly the wire hangers 😛 Here’s my bouquet so far. Waiting for a brooch lot from ebay to come in to finish.  A lot of them were both my grandparents who have passed.

This is what I plan to DIY for our day (it will be just the two of us, no guests). I am always doing different projects for fun/the sisterhood I am president of so I love to DIY. I just finished doing Christmas ornaments for them a few weeks ago. As long as I have enough time I plan to make/create the following;

-Racer back tank with my married name & est. 2014 on it. I will be purchasing a cute bow for the back on etsy because 1 thing I can’t do is sew well.

-Zip up hoodie with my first name on the front & the mrs. newlast name & est. on the back (I am going to create the design using photoshop & just iron transer everything on. I will also most likely do an outline in crystals since I’ve done whole hoodies/shirts in crystals)

-wedding announcements; using a cream pochette enevlope & going to create the design announcing our marriage using a design from etsy/wording I create in adobe photoshop or word.

-bling out a pair of ballet flats(i want heels so bad but i had spinal fusion in Sept. 2013 so not happening)

-brooch & silk flower bouquet (I am using a mix of cream flowers, different brooches I’ve found online, a ring my adopted mother gave me, my club pin, & pearls/rhinestones also bought online)

-sand ceremony shadow box (going to buy a regular shadow box & adapt it. I will be putting a picture of us on one side of the clear frame & one of my favorite quotes from an Elizabeth Barrett Browning poem) & vinyl our last name & wedding date on the outside of the frame.

-boutoniere for the groom (going to use some leftover stuff from my brooh bouquet).

-decorating the venue (we are being married in a garden that is beautiful, going to decorate the pergola with tissue poms & laterns. I am also going to have a table set up on the property with a cake, wine, letters, etc. I am making all the decorations for the table)

-wine labels for our 1,5,10,15,20th anniversaries. I am also going to purchase his favorite wine for each year.

-Petal runner. I am not doing a full runner, just like side runners to create an aisle for me to walk up(i’m sure you’ve seen them on the DIY section. using cream and different colors of pink)

-depending on what dress I decide on I will make a hot pink tulle crinoline.
