I never thought I’d be one of those girls with a “dream dress”. To be honest, I’ve never thought of weddings or imagined I would be married until my FI proposed to me. I’m on a very small budget for a dress. I started off thinking I could get a dress for $100-150…spent $390…and now I’m unsure about my dress. I had a few people telling me that I didn’t spend much and can just go out and buy another one. Nope, that is A LOT of money to me and I’m not one of those brides that can just go out and buy another one like it’s no big deal. It would be an EXTREMELY difficult decision for me to spend any more money. I have too many other financial obligations, but I won’t go into detail about that here…
Anyway…trying to forget about this dress. This is the first time I was MINDBLOWN by a wedding dress (Anna Campbell…and there are many other beautiful similar dresses by them as well). Now I understand when brides go on and on about how in love they are with their dress!
The wedding dress isn’t the most important part of the wedding (everyone knows that)…but I’m a bit heartbroken and jealous! I can’t afford the $1000 replica either. I think I’m going to try my best to shut up and take a break from weddingbee-brain. 😛

It is a beautiful dress, but there are tons of beautiful dresses.
Can we see your dress?

Anna campbell dresses are lovely, but not always super flattering unless you are a model.
Show us your dress!!! 😉

Agree! Let’s see your dress 🙂

Jasmine Bridal made this dress for another bee. May be worth checking out!

Catcat1: I agree. While it is a gorgeous dress, it could look a bit frumpy on a normal body type. Dresses always look different on models vs real brides; I actually hate my dress on the model but love it on me (not trying to sound vain or anything) haha.

I don’t know if this helps, but I saw Anna Campbell dresses in person when shopping with a friend and was shocked at the complete lack of support and thinness of the material. They look beautiful on the models but awkward on the hanger and I don’t think they’d hide flaws well.

AML8: so beautiful!
But i would feel like i would get those beads dangling at the back caught on something and they would fly and scatter across the floor lol
show us your dress!

Anna Campbell dresses are gorgeous, no doubt. However, I tried one on, and to be honest, it was a bit much/over the top. The focus is on the dress, not you–Definitely not what you want on your wedding day. Also, her dresses seem to hit right below the bust which wasn’t very flattering on me (I’m 5’10” and a size 0…it made me look like I had a gut LOL). What does your dress look like?!

AML8: It’s very lovely, but I think you have a model type body to really look good in that! Plus, I’m too practical and could see myself getting those bead strands stuck on everything (under your pits, your bracelet/necklace, hair if it’s down, etc).. And while it is lovely, it has alot going on on there, but I’m a fan of a more simple style anyway! I wanna see your dress too!

Oh my gosh, the other day my friend (who is not engaged) said she found the most gorgeous dress ever that she has to have – and it was this dress! I’m sorry I don’t have any advice. Post some pics of your dress :]
