I've been sort-of AWOL lately because our engagement shoot is todaaaay at 4pm. I'm still not 100% sure what I'm wearing, but it's all good! It'll be bright and colorful and probably a little obnoxious. I decided on Friday to fold 1000 paper cranes, but puttered out because I'm le sick. I ended up just making 6 that are huge [read: bigger than the cat] and a bunch of tiny ones and a bunch of midsized ones.

The hairdresser is coming over at 2pm and we will get our hairs did.

I need lots of luck. Tons. Fingers crossing, prayers, chants, all that jazz. We want to ward off fat-face and land-monster land from me. lol

Good luck! The important thing is to be relaxed. Have a blttle of wine handy, if need be, but get relaxed (not to relaxed lol). Can't wait to see. I love the paper cranes. I learned origami when I lived in Japan and have been thinking about starting up again, but 1000 cranes is ambitious!

    Thanks. :)

I've done the 1000 cranes before in a really short period of time. I'm a machine. :p I started doing origami when I was really little, so it's like second nature. Last semester I did a huge crane installation. So yeah, I should've not failed. :p

P.S. Does anybody know if we're supposed to tip the photog today? Or just all at the wedding?

We had our E-pics taken and we didn't tip.

Have a great time and try and relax.  Sigh, you can really see how nervous we were in our pictures.

Thanks everybody! It went super super fanatastically. (Even if I am sick as a dog now and ended up rolling the heck out of my ankle. All in the name of art and love, right?)

    [What we wore: http://iloveyoumuch.com/wordpress/?p=557 ]

First, we went to this abandoned (and "Do not trespass"-signed) brush field. We were pretty nervous, and I'm sure looked really weird. I'm super ADHD so I either don't follow directions at all, or occasionally follow them REALLY WELL. MM told me (as we were crouching in brush) that I should try to push my fiance over. Well, I shoved the crap out of him and he barrel-rolled. Then we all died laughing. FIANCE SMASH. MM got the whole thing on film.

Then we went to take pictures under this piece of graffiti that's on a median under an overpass. We were laying in the grass on this like 6' wide median with cars going by SO FAST. It was awesome, and I think we got major street-cred as it was covered in brambley things, ants, and well, cars zooming by. [Pray for ATL graffiti examples can be seen here, for non-ATL peeps: http://images.google.com/images?q=pray%20for%20atl&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi ]

Then we played in freedom park and MM had me put on my sky-high Tory Burch heels that really made me the fifty-foot bride. (He had great fun making me the actual fifty-foot bride...lol). He also did this whole part of the shoot with us covered in the paper cranes that I folded, and even rained the teeny tiny ones down on us while we wre on the ground. (My intentions! Yay!)

After that we went to the backside of the High Museum and played in these big light boxes (it was dark outside) and then these even smaller ones. I was still wearing the heels, and I stood up straight in the box and leaned 90 degrees and my back touched the top of the box. In this pose he had me kiss my fiance, and it was pretty much like Alice in Wonderland awesomeness.  More playing around there, la la la, and on the narrow stairways.

Then we went to the fire pit at Pint & Plate across from our apartment and took pictures and frightened customers.

Finally, we took shots of JP scaling the iron doors at the apartment building and me looking terrified. And us acting like we were in jail, if I remember correctly.

WHEW. Mad props for anyone that read all of that. Thanks for all of the good vibes and stuffs. I am so excited and scared to see the pics. I really don't want to look like a land monster.

@Jessie- Does the stretchy-scrinchy part on the back irritate your heels? That's why I'm a little slow on the uptake to buy them.
