Yes! We were on our annual pumpkin picking day with our two best friends. It had been raining all morning but we were only in town that day so we were the only ones there. My MOH took the pics and I’m so glad she did! The rest of the night wasn’t so great (sleeping on a gross couch in the attic of a frat house on homecoming weekend…..) but I’m glad we got to share it with them!

LaPetiote:  Thank you! You can tell in the first pic he didn’t kneel down all the way because he wouldn’t been coverd in mud lol It turned out okay though. Ironically enough it rained during our engagement pictures, bachelorette party, and wedding! Must be some good luck!

LaPetiote:  That’s a pretty neat idea but honestly, I’m so vain that my first thought is at what a horrid angle my face would be recorded if he was on one knee or even if I was holding the box. Bleh I’d look like Jabba the hutt

MrsN14:  Our proposal was at a Pumpkin patch too! haha, Love it! I never expected it. We were there w/ my parents & Nephews, so my mom took pictures of every moment.

I proposed to my fiance and having a professional photographer there to capture it was really important to me!

playdohpants:  haha that was exactly my first thought as well… not particularly flattering!

random bystanders took pictures from all angles and it was caught on video! I love replaying that magical moment!

I have a video and I love being able to relive the moment whenever I want!  FI’s mom was the only one who knew about the proposal and I’m so thankful that she decided to record it because I didn’t remember anything he said to me leading up to the “will you marry me?” part.

My FI and I were on a ski trip in Utah and he had his go pro on him all 4 days we went skiing. On the last day he proposed on my favorite route and had the GoPro running the whole time. I didn’t know it was recordering until I saw it and asked if it was on.

I definitely love that we have a video of it, It will be something we show our family, kids, grandkids. That moment is frozen in time forever. (Cheesy)

Sometimes I feel like we want to “capture” every single little moment, but is it really necessary? Maybe I feel differently because I could see the proposal coming so was able to anticipate the excitement, and I think I do remember the little details. There are so many wedding costs that I’m perfectly ok with not having live footage of the proposal. We did have a bystander take a picture of us shortly after he proposed.
