Hi bees, need your opinion about ceremony decor.
I found this pic where the only decor for ceremony is 1 or 2 medium-sized flower arrangements for the altar. I like its clean and simple yet elegant look. Granted, the church itself is beautiful.
No pew flowers in a more modern church
Now, this is the church I’m getting married at.
(Hopefully there won’t be any banner under the cross on the day of)
I know this is subjective, but do you think it’ll look empty/boring if I do the same, considering my church is not as beautiful? (The altar is not present in this pic, it will be set in front of the pulpit)
There are 30 pews (15 for each side), the plan is to have small posies for alternate pews (budget issue).

We got pew bows at orientaltrading. They gave the church just a little bit extra for the wedding, and it was like $5 for 12 bows! And they were gorgeous!

@Figarro: No one NEEDS pew flowers or aisle decor of any sort. If there are $$ to throw at it, go right ahead. Otherwise spending your money on the focal point (altar area) will look lovely.
People have weddings with no flowers in the church at all. I love the clean simple lines in these arrangements of birch branches.

@BrandNewBride: Thanks for tip, I’ll definitely check orientaltrading 🙂 I did think of ribbons for economical alternative, but I still prefer flowers as they give a more refined look. All pics that I found for pew decor with ribbon somehow look messy. I guess it depends on how they are done, and I should look for more samples until I find one that I like.
@julies1949: Thanks for the suggestion 🙂 Yeap, that’s what I thought too, allocate the money for a better altar flowers because they have more visual impact.
