Thanks again for all of your patience with this being late. i now have a working power cord so there should not be any other issuses.
I am really going to need alot of encouragement this week. gaining last week and the i didnt lose, or gain anything this week. Something has got to change
Just as long as you don't throw in the towel because of the gain, then you are on the right track. Are you tracking what you eat and your exercise?

@Miss Tattoo:no im not giving up. i have been trackin g everything...not that it is an excuse but pms has not been nice to me this month. but this week will be better
**** major fail as far as the list this week, I need to say sorry to FutureMrsBohannon who lost 5 lbs. which would put her at the top of the list, but because i already named tranquility as the winner, i am going to say that you are both the winners this week.
Again sorry, i failed big time, i was in such a rush to get this done when i got home from best buy with my new cord that i skipped over her. I will be more careful next week.

Woohoo back on the board last week! Sorry I missed last week. was in the UK with no access to a scale. Down 1.2lbs this morning so the vacation didn't derail me!
Hope to have a larger loss to record this coming Friday!!
Apparently my 2 pound gain last week kicked my booty in gear because over the weekend I was able to lose those 2 pounds. I even went for a run on Sunday. I am the laziest person alive on Sundays so that is a big deal for me.
While the kids are asleep (I am a nanny) I just did my cooking for the week. I made zuchini lasagna and pesto chicken. I am going low carb these days so I used the zucchini instead of noodles. It is de-lish. Can't wait to eat some of this for dinner tonight.
I don't want to be #10 again!!!
Today I am taking kickboxing at the gym which is a such a fun way to get your workout in. Hope everyone is having a good Monday!

I went back to the gym this morning after being a little disappointed in my results on Friday. It certainly was difficult after not going for a few days. I really wanted to just turn my alarm off and stay in bed for that extra couple of hours, BUT I got my butt out of bed and went hard!!
My motto for the week is: "The only way I'm going to loose this butt is if I loose the buts!" Haha yes I am that much of a dork...

Hey ladies!! Congrats on everyone's success!! I just started working out (yesterday lol) and am wanting real results. Does anyone have any tips on healthy meals that wont set me back. I will be going to the gym 3-4 times a week and working out at home (the BIGGEST LOSER on the Xbox 360 Kinect) every night so I've got that part covered. It's just that when it comes to the diet part I get lost and I know that if I don't eat right then I might as well not waste my time working out. Heeeeeeeelllllllpppppppp!!!!
@Twizzle11: What kind of food do you like? What do you normally eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner.
The key is to get lots of fruits and veggies and well as getting in good lean protein. Try to limit carbs and sugars.
Also, it's better for your metabolism to eat 5 small meals throughout the day rather than 3 large meals.
@M.Ruder: Congrats on #2 :)
I wasn't good this weekend, but I didn't go to a buffet, so that's always a win for me. Back on track this morning!!

hey all, my bloat problems are finally going away. I am feeling soo much better. I stepped on the scale this morning and although it is still the same, i think that this week will be good. I plan on working out like crazy this week.

Ugh... I need help/motivation.
First off I'm sick with a terrible head cold. All stuffed up, can't breathe through my nose, can't hear properly, and feel dizzy.
Secondly, since I'm sick nothing tastes good (or like anything for that matter) but I still ate over 600 cals in chocolaty snacks last night.
Was up 3lbs today from yesterday (sure it's bloat, water weight, etc) but I just feel like giving up sometimes.
My body just does not want to lose this weight no matter how hard I try.
Today is a good day, I am wearing a pair of capri's that I had to take out of my bag of pants that were too tight to wear!!! Whooohooo!!!!
@KatNYC2011: i am feeling the same way my body has not been nice to me for the past few weeks, but yesterday i was feeling much better, until i stepped on the scale and gained 5lbs. Im sure it is water weight, TOM, but im freaking out. I did an hour of cardio and about 45 min of weight lifting last night and plan on doing that all week. I better lose weight this week.
@mattsgirl813: Thanks :) Are you eating a lot of salty foods? Or are you drinking gatorade when you work out (can cause bloating)? It sounds like you are retaining water for some reason, can you kick up your water intake? Or try drinking green tea?
@CruiseWedding2010: not so much salty foods, but because i wasnt feeling good, i hadnt really been drinking much of anything, let alone water. I am going to get some green tea today and try that.
@mattsgirl813: Green tea is supposed to be good for your metabolism too, so I hope it helps you :) I add equal to mine, I can't drink it without sweetener!! Have you been working out this hard for a while now? If not remember your body is breaking down your muscle and repairing it, which can also lead to your body retaining water, don't get discouraged!!!
@CruiseWedding2010: i had to add sweetener to it too. i have been working out alot harder then before, but i have always been pretty active. I am not getting discouraged, it just not going as well as i had hoped.
I am 0.3 pounds away from being in the 100's. It's so close I can taste it. I have been trying to get here for 6 months (kinda got a slow start....) My body takes forever before it starts losing weight, then once I start it generally just falls off. I really hope that's where I'm at now. Weight weight go away.
@jessjess: wow that is awesome, i cant wait for that to happen for me, i have about 7-8 lbs. It is taking me along time to start losing weight, hopefully it gets better.

@KatNYC2011: Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. I think being home sick is a legitimate excuse for not sticking to your routine! Get better soon :)

As far as myself goes ladies, I'm having one terrible day. My girlfriend's husband left her this morning so I was late for work with all her crying phone calls. My boss then yelled at me and put me to tears. I was literally 1 minute late and I'm such a good employee I thought he's understand. I guess he's dealing with other crap that is really getting to him.
Anyway, this lead me to having an emotional lunch break where I decided to stuff my face with McDonalds....bad, bad, bad! I haven't had McDonalds in sooo long. That grease felt good though lol.
On to the gym tonight. I called right after I ate my heart out and booked in a spin class tonight. Oh geez..
I fell off the wagon today! I need this day to go by quickly so I can go work my buns off at the gym. My daytime schedule is changing too so I think I am going to have to start getting up at a disgusting hour for the gym since I can't work out during naptime anymore. Bummer. I like working out twice a day so it will be ok. I love starting out the day with a workout, it just means that I have to get up at 4:30am. I have done it before so I can do it again.
I cheated a little last night :( I ate the frozen yogurt that my hubby bought for me the day before. I always tell him not to put candy on it and he just had to sprinkle some on it :) Oh well it wasn't that bad. The bad part was that I started eating it during my last 5 minutes on the elliptical. I've been good today though and I just got through lifting weights.

i am doing pretty good today, i had fruit for breakfast, salad with berries and pecans for lunch/dinner. i am headed to the gym tonight after class

I don't think I will be loosing any weight this week since I had such a random drop last week. But I haven't gained anything yet so that is good!
@tranquility: yupp the origional list had to be modified because i made a mistake so you and FutureMrsBohannon are both the winners. i explained further down the thread. Way to go by the way. i would still be happy if i didnt lose this week if i were you, it means that you didnt gain.
@CruiseWedding2010: It wasn't that bad but my body puts on weight if I even look at the wrong kind of food so it freaks me out when I get off my plan at all. I am such an all or nothing kind of person, some times I just need to simmer down!
@jessjess: Well then don't beat yourself up over it, don't forget you still have to enjoy the life you are currently living!!
Good morning ladies!!! One more day to weigh in - be good today!!!! I had to pull a pair of jeans out of my bag of too tight to fit clothes again this morning!!!! Love it :)
@CruiseWedding2010: that is awesome, i am so jealous!! this has been alot harder than i thought it would be. the bloat weight still hasnt gone away. I am really hoping that that is what it is. I have been eating so good staying within 1250 calories a day and mostly eating fruits and veggies. I have been working out alot lately so i just dont know. I am not happy about having to report a 4lbs gain tomorrow:(
I actually made it up at 4:30am and got my butt into the gym. I plan on taking Zumba tonight at the gym. That is assuming traffic allows me to get there on time... this is LA. I find that I make better decisions throughout the day when I workout in the morning. Hoping for some success on the scale tomorrow. ::crosses fingers:: Has anyone done Zumba before? This will be my first time. I love group exercise classes so I hope it goes well!
@jessjess: Let me know how Zumba goes because I've been meaning to try it myself...
I'm trying so hard to behave before the weigh in tomorrow... lol
@mattsgirl813: I just don't get it with your weight!! It seems like you are really watching what you eat and you are exercising regularly!!! Maybe you are like me I bloat the week before, the week of and the week after my TOM. That sucks! Are you writing down everything you are eating? Maybe there are some calories sneaking in there, I know when I add up calories in my head I tend to calculate on the low side.
@jessjess: LA you are really close to me I'm in San Diego :)
@west.coast.blonde: I'm behaving during the day, but at night I really want that glass of Moscato!!!!
@CruiseWedding2010: I am moving to the Milwaukee area in a few weeks and want to get down to San Diego before I leave... because I can. I just have to figure out what I want to do there. Anything cool there?
