I hope that nothing bad has happened to her, so sad that her children were left behind. Hopefully she is found safe and sound soon!

Oh my! That is horrifying news.  I wish people would take missing persons more seriously…a lot sooner.  My former principal didn’t show up at a meeting on a Friday and nobody bothered to follow-up.  Sadly, her husband arrived home to find her on the floor on a Sunday afternoon (he’s a pilot and was out of town for business).  She survived, but had a major stroke.  Thankfully, she is doing well now after tons of therapy and support from loved ones.  God Bless your co-worker and may she be found soon…and in good health!

Oh god how frightening. It doesn’t sound at all like she went off willingly.

Too often these stories have sad endings – thinking of her and her family.

@pansyshell: Oh no! It does seem odd that her bf went back to NY already. Hopefully she will be found safe and sound.

well I didnt see it in the article I am going to say the boyfriend knows something, whenever someone goes missing like this the husband/so is looked at as a suspect and the fact that he ran back to NY seems very fishy to me. I hope she is safe somewhere and makes it home to her kids. I dont get why this took so long to make news everyone knows the first 48hours are the most important. I wonder if she ever said anything to anyone at work that they might have brushed aside but now it could be important. If she wasnt reported missing right away that is another red flag. Keep us updated if you hear anything. I will be praying for her and her family

OMG!!!!  That’s SO scary… I honestly could see how you might not question it, though, because you always think, “oh that could never happen here”.  But still… 2 weeks and other supervisors never called or her friends never called?  Yikes, I hope she’s ok and that someone finds her shortly.
