OK... Just looking at a few of the wonderful pictures and have decided I do not want my wife to wear the same old rented tuxedo but a fun tailored white suit. But I have no idea where to look for this suit. I want it tailored but not half of our budget. I still want her to wear a champagne vest which matches my dress. If you have any ideas let me know.......

I like Ann Taylor for suits but I'm not sure if they do white. I found these at Macy's. I think any department store will be a good place to start. I think you will have better luck during the warmer months since white isn't supposed to be worn after Labor Day. I found a lot of skirt suits, but not so many pant suits, so if your FI is willing to do a skirt suit you might have more options.

I did a quick search and found three on the JC Penney website. Two are skirt suits, but you could easily purchase some white slacks/trousers and have them tailored nicely.

I'll let you know if I find any more. :) I love a challenge! #1 is my favorite of the three...the last two have odd-looking buttons, but let me know if I'm on the right track.

I would definitely look at higher-end department stores, and start looking now. We tried to do a long skirt/top combo, and had the HARDEST time finding a top for DW after we'd found the skirt. We went to at least 10 different stores. I did see a few white suits while we were looking, but nothing that either of us loved if she had gone that route. I say high end dept. stores, because JC Penny and Dillards didn't really seem to have a lot. Even at the higher-end stores, nothing was near the price of a wedding dress, so price-wise, I think you'll be ok unless you start looking at custom-made outfits.

ETA: I would also suggest getting a suit that comes with all the pieces based on how hard it was for us to find a top that matched the formal skirt and her bolero jacket. It was actually more of a challenge to get her outfit than it was to get my wedding dress.
