Hey, it's free! Most likely it'll be good to awesome, even if it sucks, nothing lost if you werent going to get one anyawys. Congrats!
with a price of free you can't really complain I guess. If you were not willing to have a videographer in the first place than any video you have will be better than no having one at all. Let us know how it turns out!
and congrats!
Since it is free, and you weren't planning on hiring one in the first place, I would say if the end video isn't perfect, it shouldn't matter because it will be better than nothing.
Congratulation on the contest, I'm sure you and your FI are so excited!
I kow exactly how you feel! i won free dj and i went and read all the reviews i could on them- worried that since its free they wont be as professional..but as the other bees said- you cant beat free! Ima let it go and pray for the best!
Congrats!!!
Are you worried about just the professional"ness" of their work or them themselves? I would try to look up reviews just to make sure you're happy with the way that they record (fall in the background, pro-active with lots of interviews, etc.) because just because it's free doesn't mean it's the best way to go if you're not going to be happy with it. Congrats though ! :)
I agree that you should be more worried about the way they'll work at your wedding than the way the finished product looks. If they're website looks unprofessioanl, they probably are too. Do you get to meet with these people first? View their work? Find out how many weddings they've done? Are they just starting out? How will they work the day of your wedding? In the background or front and center? Why did they give a $3000 video away for free? If they're new, they may get in the way of your photographer or be in your face all day. Not only do you need to know if they'll work at your wedding as professionals, but you need to know if you wll get along well with them. They will be with you and your phtographer your whole wedding day. Free is awesome, but not at the expense of loosing great photographs because they get in the way or being aggrevated by someone who has no idea what they're doing. I would definitely look for reviews and insist on a meeting if that hasn't already happened.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I was at a bridal show this past weekend, and naturally signed up for EVERYTHING!! Well... I just got a call that I won a full videography package, valued at $3000! That's CRAZY!!!
I cant believe it... I've never won anything in my life. We're having a super tight budget wedding, and this package is almost double our photographer cost, and so I never even CONSIDERED having a videographer because its totally out of our price range - unless the price is *free* haha!
That said, I looked at their website and it's, well, kind of the polar opposite of "professional". I'm kind of worried that the quality of their work will reflect the quality of the website, and that this is all just too good to be true. I guess I'm just a little afraid to get my hopes up, but I know I have nothing to loose, right?
