OK, sorry guys, total TMI, but I’m seriously wondering!
After sex – do you find that his sperm “leaks” from you?? Even if you lay down for a while after??
I’m wondering if this is normal for most?! I’m assuming most of it goes where it’s supposed to – but wonder if it’s a concern since we are TTC…

I had the same question when we were TTC. I googled it like crazy and really couldn’t find a clear answer. Sorry for the TMI, but I couldn’t even lay perfectly still without it coming out so I gave up and would just go clean up right after. Apparently that was okay though because we got pregnant on the first cycle of trying.

I thinks its normal…Mine does, we are not TTC yet but will start this fall. Read online lay there for at least 20 minutes afterward and put a pillow under your hips so that gravity can do its thing.

Yes that’s totally normal. Not all of it is actually sperm. From what I remember from some classes that I had, alot of that is alkaline seminal fluid that the sperm live in. The fluid is secreted from several glands in the male reproductive system. It’s very helpful in making sure the sperm survive in the acidic environment within the vagina. So even though some of the fluid does make its way out, plenty of sperm is still left that can race to the egg!

You tube has a video (in pieces, a 1 hr show) of the great sperm race. It’s hilarious, and linked somewhere on WB and explains all kinds of stuff (like this, which is normal).
