I succummed to a little bit of rustic decor for my wedding ::FACEPALM:……..I am not sure if I will actually use this or not, and its not done in the photo but I made a cardbox out of a birdcage and we used wire cutters to cut a slit in the top for the cards.

It may work, it may not. We are doing a vintage looking wedding but not rustic vintage. Lots of golds, blush pinks, vintage champagne coupes for the toast etc. The seating chart is a giant mirror with a white frame and these shimmering pearl colored paper is going to be stuck on with glue dots for the seating charts…..so the birdcage may look out of place next to it, it may not.

MrsTtoB:  I definitely like the black matte on the place cards. I think it adds a little bit of contrast between the glitter and the name card. Did you do the painting on the signs by hand? I’ve tried painting various signs (not for a wedding but for general DIY) and I can ever get my letters that smooth. I’m impressed! Everything looks great
