@Tanya5484:  Which kind?  My Mother-In-Law has plantation shutters and it cost them around 5k to do their whole house.

Posting so I can follow this!  I’m really interested in doing this in at least a few rooms.

We have faux-wood blinds throughout our entire house.  Love how they look!

I have no idea what they cost though because we got our builder to buy and install them as part of the negotiations on our house.

Don’t have them but would love them……wondering how much would cost from Lowes.

We have them throughout our apartment.  I don’t think they’re real wood and I have no idea how much they cost since I did not install them.  But I do really love them.  When we decided on this apartment, we intended to get curtains to replace the blinds, but we ended up loving the look of the blinds so much we decided to stick with them.  They are also a lot hardier than the yucky mini-blinds that my cats seem to destroy in 10 minutes flat.

i love the look of normal blinds made of wood, but dont get the wood ones that resemble a pulldown shade. They are completely see through during the night.
