Hmm.. not recently. I remember doing something like that in elementary for mothers day. It is not that hard. Just write in pencil what you want and trace over it with the tool. I suggest a little flat head one like this:

Then get the changable heads, that way you can get those tricky places.

They sell them at michaels. I’ve done a few projects with wood burning. I would suggest getting eye protection and possibly a mask, because there is smoke from the burning. Also, get a good amount of test wood, so you get more acquainted with the techniques that wors for you. Good Luck!!!

I am no pro. But as long as you go slow and are very careful that you dont mess up, it is achievable. I would go on YouTube to see if there are videos on this before trying.
