I have a wooden-top table in my kitchen (it’s this one) that I use everyday for food prep and eating dinner. It’ starting to show some signs of wear (nicks, scratches) and I think I need some wood polish to protect it, but I don’t know what to use! My mom suggested lemon oil, but when I read the label, the lemon oil had a bunch of warnings about toxicity. We use the actualy tabletop often for rolling out tortillas or homemade noodles, so I really don’t want to put something toxic on it.
So my question is–what are some non-toxic alternatives for polishing/protecting wood?
