FI bought a $3 costume ring to see if he likes the feel of metal (before he commits to a more expensive ring). He doesn’t wear much jewellery; even his watch does not have any metal straps.
So, he searched for wooden wedding bands on Google and fell in love with a kauri because it is of prehistoric age. My concern is the durability and whether it would warp. Also, would it be comfortable?
Also, does anyone have got teak or any other hardwoods? If your fiance or husband has got a wood ring, could you please share where we could get one custom-made?
It has to be 100% wood; FI doesn’t like metal. Thanks!
(ETA: FI would only wear it on special occasions as he can’t wear rings on his job)
