I am thinking about getting mine from http://www.davesigns.com/, but would love other options as well.
I just found this on another thread
http://www.etsy.com/listing/28918208/wedding-or-banquet-custom-table-numbers
I got our initials cut out to use for the front doors of the church.
I got them here.
They turned out great, and I think I only paid 25 bucks for both. I got them unpainted, and this site is also great because you can choose the thickness, size and font for your letters.
I had a great experience!
I used and etsy seller called poshdots and they were perfect. I got her to make raw wood letters for me and docoupaged origami paper on them. They're resonably priced and come in lots of fonts and sizes.
I got mine at my local flea market! $1.50 a peice...SCORE! I guess they are probably 5 or 6 inches tall.
I was going to do this, but I am probably going to have over 30 tables, so it would have added up fast if I didn't find a cheap site. Thanks for all the sites, I'll have to check them out!
@TheFutureMrsLamkin: I used http://www.craftcuts.com/ The letters came back perfectly, the CS was super helpful and responsive. I give these guys 5 stars.
@Mrs.tobe: What size did you get for the front doors? We want to get letters for the front gate of our reception, but Im clueless as to what size and thickness I should get!
@icelara: I think I got the letters 16 inches tall and 1/4 in thick...
I don't have them with me at the moment, but I'm pretty sure that's what I did. I will say this, I got a smaller thickness because I didn't want them to be heavy on the church doors and possibly do any damage when people open them (Catholic churches are VERY picky...lol) So if they are going to be hanging on your gate you might want something heavier, and a bit thicker.
But they did a great job! I would suggest that you grab a tape measure and see how tall you would think you'd like them in comparison to the gate and go from there!
Good luck!
@HardyPooleParty: I was going to get my cake topper letter from them, can't find a cheaper option in a nice script. What size did you get?
I just ordered from craftcuts.com... $7.30 with shipping.. You know you're "cheap" when you're searching the web and local stores for days to spend less than that...STUPID SHIPPING COSTS! LOL!
Hopefully I like it when it arrives, got a 5 inch letter and the site says it will be apprx 5 x 5.....
So I just got my letter in the mail and it looks awesome! I would definatly recommend www.craftcuts.com! Super cheap, and fast shipping!
@TheFutureMrsLamkin: Hey sorry I totally didnt see your initial response until now! Sorry about that, but sounds like you went ahead and it worked out!! Post a pic! I got mine to hang as decor and am adding washi tape to them. I'll post when I get that done.
I'm going to paint it and bling it up and then I'll be posting pics! I might order some "I Do" cake table letters from them as well, unless I can find them cheaper at a local store...LOL!
@TheFutureMrsLamkin: Haha, ur hilarious! Look forward to seeing what you do!
HA! It's a curse to be so cheap! I'm a DIY master...LOL
If you see a font you like, you can enlarge it and trace it on to a piece of MDF then find someone with a bandsaw to cut them out. You can probably do the whole project for under $15 this way.
So it's all finished and looks awesome! Total cost of the letter, shipping, paint, wooden dowel and 384 crytals: $15.36!
I will post pics soon!
Here it is!!!!

@TheFutureMrsLamkin: Oh yay!! Love it! I am doing mine this weekend, will post pics!
@HardyPooleParty: It was SO easy to do and it took like 2 hours to glue the crystals on. Seriously, I'm in the wrong business. With all this DIY stuff, I could make a killing! LOL!
Hey bees, just an FYI that I found awesome wooden table numbers that come with stands on etsy. Shop is called "bluemountaincrafts." Price was the cheapest I could find for the quality of work and they can be made in metal as well.

I want to make my own blingy letter cake topper and I am thinking about making blingy table numbers to match. AcMoore and Michaels have very limited styes and sizes. Lookig for a cursive letter for the topper and at least 4in numbers that eitherstand alone or are/can be attached to a base....any info out there??
