Gorgeous! That was one of my "finalists" but when the bridal consultant walked behind me and gave the 2Be Elizabeth Darcy a tug on both sides..I was sold on it (I'm a block with legs, and it gave me an honest to goodness waist!)
But I love the Melissa Brooch!

fanatic888: Oh gosh, we got plenty here.. I don't know what the final amount was, inch-wise, but we just shoveled ourselves out of it because I was ready to CRAWL to the local Wawa for something to eat. I hate being snowed in.

Soooo, my dress came in yesterday and I scheduled my first fitting with the seamstress for Sunday, but the bridal shop called today and asked me if I wanted to come in tonight to do it because of the bad weather Virginia's supposed to be getting and the possibility of the store being closed all weekend. No problem! I was super excited. I snapped some pictures, including the one below.
My dress is an ivory Maggie Sottero Melissa Brooch. I am totally butt crazy in love with it. I'm even loving it more because the seamstress is removing 2 inches of fabric from both side seams to fit it just right to my waist and hips.. and I wasn't expecting that at all. I go back for another fitting at the end of February. Yay!
Just wanted to share my excitement with the bees! :D
