haha... i do. and it's funny how you knew who the items were purchased by! our first registry gifts i was able to guess were purchased by my FILs based on convos we had while they helped us do our registry shopping - then last week i stalked and saw 2 more items that were dead give aways that they had bought more stuff for us! sure enough, the box came yesterday... and it was more gifts from them. my FH can't believe they keep buying up our registry items... but i try to remind him he's 41 and they never thought he'd settle down - they're just super excited he's finally getting married! heehee.
Um, totally. I also cheat by looking at the Thank You card manager to see who bought what. Horrible, I know.
Hahaha I assume it was my parents because the invites JUST went out 2 days ago and the items were purchased @ Target - which for the majority of my guests would be a 25-30min drive to the mall - and my mother works down the street from the mall. Its a shower head and dish soap/hand soap container - nothing exciting but still!
I do!! Never knew about the thank you card manager...that's actually handy! What stores have that?
Yes, I am shameful. I check almost every day, and can often guess who bought what. So that makes it necessary for me to feign surprise when I actually receieve the gifts.
FI made fun of me when I came out and excitedly told him that someone finally bought us something off the registry. Now he checks it every day ;)
I did, but I kept telling myself that the gifts might have been purchased for the wedding, because I really wanted to be surprised. I didn't opne any boxes that came before the shower (some people shipped the larger items to my house and wraped a picture of the gift, how awesome is that!). I needed to look at the registry to make sure things didn't go out of stock or become discontinued (which I was surprised by how many things did) so that I could add other things, also I tried to keep selections in each price range on there, because I know how hard it is to go look on a registry and see everything but the china and silverware gone ;)
@nevjcu: Macy's and Crate & Barrel both have the thank you card manager, I'm not sure who else...
i love stalking mine! and i'm loving this thank you card manager! how cool!
we had a bunch of our registry get purchased quick (8 of 12 place settings and like 40% of the stuff on our target registry were bought within two weeks of invites being sent!) so my mom has been on me to check and add more. my FI is amazed at the presents a wedding involves!

Hahahaa I know I shouldn't have done this....but I got a little excited over it......
My mother just sent out my Wedding Shower invites on Tuesday (80 people invited - yikes!) and I was just merely "updating" (aka "stalking") my registries and I have 3 items bought!! I have a feeling it was my mother and father who purchased these items (even though they already gifted us w/ a FABULOUS fridge!!!) but I'm still excited!
FESS UP: Do you all registry "stalk" yourselves? Or others? I "stalk" my friend's registry to see what people have bought her!!
