Weddingbee boards

ever since i got engaged, life has has it's ups and downs.  more ups, but the downs where waaaaaaay down.  got laid off as a teacher, fiance lost his job and then employment.  so you see what i am getting at?  noooo money.  but we were determined to get married.

fast forward february, no dress, no plans, hopes and wishes.  then we found a venue.  my dad paid the first deposit, but we have to pay the second one, mom is paying final.  then a seamstress e-mailed me a beautiful dress that she could make for $499.  still no money...

then i got a job, making waaaaaaaaay less than i was initially making.  it's enough, but still we struggle.

AND THEN THINGS GET BETTER:

the lady at my job is a caterer,  very expensive caterer with real good food.

my boss???  former special events coordinator-FREE.

old high school friend reaches out and says he can photograph our wedding for $485 (and ladies, he's the bomb) as a gift.

paid for my dress in full.

a co-worker makes jewelry (can you say brides' maids gifts)

another co-worker is a graphics genius.  invitations-$100 for 125

my smile=priceless

now the other things.  fiance and i are sending out resumes like crazy.  so we are hopeful he will have a job by june.

moral of story:

some things are a blessing in disguise!  woooosah!

sorry and then he lost his unemployment.

sooo many mistakes...the caterer is doing the job for $600.  we just purchase the food.  and she has chafing dishes!
