I hope that you are both doing well.
I am sending this letter to you to thank you for all that you did for my grandparents over the last few years. I appreciate how much time you spent caring for them. We were all grateful that you were able to help them get to their appointments and move everything out of their home when they went to the nursing home. Going through their things after they both passed away was very helpful to the family.
I received a small inheritance from my grandparent's will. You were always there for my grandparents in their last years of life. Please accept this money as my personal thanks for taking care of them for us. It really means so much me to.
@MissAsB: I just want to say that it is so sweet that you are reimburseing them for this. I am sorry to hear about your grandfather passing. I am sure he is proud that you are doing this. :) Good luck to you! I think the other poster did a great job editing your letter..i dont have any other suggestions!

Hey everyone I need your help! I'm usually pretty good with coming up with things but my mind is just drawing a blank on this!
My grandfather recently passed away and left me and my 3 cousins some money. My dad was talking to me yesterday about maybe giving some to my great aunt and her husband who took care of both of my grandparents when they were starting to get sick, driving them around to appointments, helped my grandpa move into a condo after my grandma passed and empty out their home, and also helped my dad to clear out the remaining assets after my grandpa passed. I thought about it and I do want to give them some money. They are on a fixed income and I'm sure they spent a lot taking care of them.
I am trying to write them a note explaining why I am sending them money but it just sounds lame. Help please!
