WOW, what an awesome story!!!
Have you thought of making it into a cute little poem?
The sun was not shining
so our plane was not flying
but (your FI's name) looked around
and thought (your name) was beguiling
So he flashed her a smile
from across the aisle
and now they fly the friendly skies together
enjoying every mile, no matter the weather
LOL...ok, I'm a HORRID poet, but, you get the idea!!! ![]()
In any case hope this helps, even if only for a good laugh! ![]()
This may be too cheesy for you, but it was the first thing that popped into my head.
Let us take you into flight as we celebrate the night.
lol

My fiance and I have been trying frantically to come up with a story to put on the cover of our wedding invitations. We have been thinking about this, honestly, for the past 2 months, and the more times we re-write it... the worse it sounds! Basically, our wedding invitations look exactly like airline tickets. We are trying to come up with a story to put on the outside of the ticket jacket so that we can relate the invitations to the way we met (not everyone attending the wedding is aware of how we met). Any suggestions for a story would be great appreciated! Approx 5-8 sentences would be good.
About us: He and I met on Continental Flight 1125 from Boston's Logan Airport into Newark International. This occurred during the month of December back in 2005. It was a very gloomy and overcast day, so we were stuck on the tarmac for over 3 hours. The flight alone only takes approx. 45 minutes, but due to the weather we could not get off the plane or get up on move around since we were on an active runway. Anyway, we started talking to one another (despite our wicked hangovers) and we're getting married in October! At the time I was living in New Jersey and he was in Florida.
