Who's hosting it? What's the level of formality? That will help a little with the wording... if it's something more casual, you can phrase it as something like, "in anticipation of our upcoming wedding, please join us for [drinks/barbecue/a cocktail party/etc.] on XYZ at 7 o'clock.
If it's more formal and you're not hosting, maybe... "Mr. & Mrs. Host invite you to join them in celebrating the upcoming nuptials of jillkodi and groom"

Hi Bees,
My fiance and I are having a smallish wedding, with only 80 guests, as per capacity. I realize that this doesn't seem that small, but we both have really big families, and are not able to invite all of our friends. We will be having a big party the week before our wedding for the guests who will not be able to come to the wedding. Can you bees PLEASE help me with the wording for such an invitation? So far, I have nothing!
Many thanks!! :)
