Btw, my wedding isn't until May, but I really wanted to get the invitations made asap so I won't have to worry about it later...
@rtcharbo: Could you perhaps just say "together with their families" and then put her actual name on the program?
How about not putting anyones names on the actual invite.
Maybe something like: Together, with their families [brides name] and [grooms name] request the honor of your presence... so on.
@Hollymarieee: Thanks, this helps a lot. I never thought about doing it this way... :)
@rtcharbo: No problem :) trust me, I searched for good wording as well, since my parents are divorced and there are lots of people helping us :)
Mr. Father and Mrs. Godmother
and Mr. and Mrs. FianceParents
would like to invite you....

My father and godmother are going in together with my fiance's parents to put on our wedding and I am struggling with the wording on the invitations.
While my godmother is helping out, she is only providing minor funding while the majority of the event is funded my my father and fiance's parents. Should I still include my godmother on the invitation? She is standing in as the mother of the bride as my own mother died in a car accident when I was very young. I would really like to have her name on the invitation to acknowledge she is acting as my mother of the bride, but I'm not sure how to do this or if I should just have it be on the program...
HELP!!!!
