We are doing very simple cardstock invites (no folders) with small RSVP cards. Since we are inviting our guests to dinner after the reception, I think we need to include a reception/info card. Our ceremony is at 4pm. So far, this is all I plan to say:
following the ceremonyplease join us for dinner at
[City, State Zip]
Cocktails at five o’clock
Dinner at six o’clock
Is this enough? Do I need more? Our website includes directions, and everyone already has hotel rooms booked. Thanks for your honest opinions, bees!!

this sounds good. i would just write “for more information, please visit our website at…” it looks kind of random as is.

Well if this helps any, this is how I wrote mine.
Reception to follow at Water Street Restaurant.
I wrote it in tiny font under the invite, and added a small second card with directions and map and time.

any information you put on the website about your ceremony or reception should be included with the paper invitation. assumptions should never be made everyone is online. it seems incredulous, but you never know. a simple line on the invitation stating the location of the reception and time, (immediately to follow, etc.) is suitable, with an accompanying enclosure for directions and parking information.

thanks for the great suggestions ladies. forgot to mention: Will have baskets with maps/directions/water/cliff bars/etc. in their hotel rooms. Do I still need to include directions on the paper invites?

@hgail: yes. be sure to include anything important, like specifics about parking, construction, fees, etc.
